friends, cowboys, participants, i salute you! thanks to you, new year's day continues to rise in prominence on my personal liturgical calendar. i say gawd damn!

if there is anything like this anywhere this side of heaven, i wanna see it! unless it's on new year's day, of course, 'cause i'm sticking with BOC for as long as y'all want to keep doing it.

every time i walked up onto the roof deck, and then came back down into the breaks room madness, i marveled: how is it that this many people actually WANT to be doing this, at this hour? and with such enthusiasm? amazing! it's not for everyone, but that's cool, 'cause i think it's already crowded enough, don't you?

milestones in my observance of Breakfast this year include:
- working every kink out of every muscle in my body
- getting an entire tray of food all the way upstairs
- helping someone out who really needed it
- surviving & thriving through the whole blessed twelve hours

YEAH!
