In only 5 weeks you'll be stumblin and bumblin around, feeling reassured that you are not the only one who thinks that Breakfast of Champions is the only way to bring in the year properly. I am starting this thread to as an homage to great things that have happened at BOC.
I'll start:
I met one of my greatest partners in crime at BOC a few years back, he's still my homey.
It went like this:
Me: Nice Shirt Bruva, "Got Breaks" Innit?
Him: Werd; Oh nice one on the shirt as well. "Got Meth" Innit?
Me: I say Nice One!
Him: I say Nice One Bruv!
Me: Nice One Bruuuuuuuuuuva!!!
Together: I SAID NICE ONE BRRRRUVA!
Then we both almost fell over laughing.
That was how I met Kaptn' Kirk.
Lets hear it.

A friend of mine suggested skipping the overpriced midnight bullshit. Taking a nap and then heading out.

Tue, November 28, 2006 - 9:26 PMMy advice is to do it somewhat in between crackstar and rested. If you are like most people, a nice warm bed can be the enemy of making BOC all it can be. However the overhyped and over-priced NYE fiesta's can be a drain and a buzz-kill at their worst. What has made for the ideal BOC for me... do something personally rewarding with close freind(s) and then get your crunk on as soon as you start to feel as though the night should normally be winding down. This will put you in perfect form for a complete, not quite as painful BOC. -

I met Pablo at BOC last year. We spent quite a bit of the day hanging out in chairs on the patio. For some reason, I thought he said his name was Chris. I called him Chris all day and he responded every time and never once raised his eyebrows or corrected me. I thought his name was Chris for months and we didn't straighten out the name discrepancy until months later.

Almost made it in last year. We were even at the front of the line to get in, but..... plans changed and we decided to try other activities. Sea of dreams again for us and hopefulyl we will be heading over for BOC this year. Might even bring along some cheesy friends if we can. -

i have to WORK nye, but since i work at a night club of sorts, it should at least be... entertaining. getting paid to get trashed with lots of other trashed people-- and arriving at BOC ready for some REAL fun! -

I partied my ass off with Lorin and String Cheese earlier in the night,
somehow ended up getting down to BOC **after a quick trip to the beach**
just in time for a fresh bloody mary as the sun started to pour in..hitting
my second wind I continued the day and brought in the new year the only
way possible...and I'll have you all know, it was the first year in my life
that I got home on the 2nd of January! -now a tradition I cannot break :) -
